The man is loved by all. He’s our favourite goofy Vietnam Vet, our favorite plane crash survivor and our favorite WW2 hero. I’m pretty sure this man is so friendly and cool, he could shit in a backyard and be praised for it.
  • Keanu Reeves:
He set up a cancer charity but refused to attach his name to it. He also reportedly gave about $80 million of his Matrix-trilogy earnings to the makeup and special effects staff.

What. The. Hell. While I didn’t watch every single film of 2018 (sadly missing out on stuff like  First Reformed ,  Roma , and  Isle of Dogs ), looking at that Oscar nominee list felt like a stab in the heart, made even worse by the fact that it was the first thing that I saw when I woke up. While I never really cared about the Oscars before, this is the first time where I’m really pissed. There are so many movies that deserve recognition for that talent and quality that hasn’t been seen in the entertainment industry in a long time (or perhaps never), so many films whose lack of presence at this year’s Awards Ceremony pissed so many people off.
