Following the birth of her first child in 2008, and having a reaction to baby laundry, she was determined to create a company with alternative baby products that did not have ingredients such as petrochemicals and synthetic fragrances.

The company launched in 2012 and certainly started off strong. It had sales of $50 million in 2013, and grew steadily by 2016, it reached $250 million. As mentioned it’s reached a billion dollar market valuation.

Further, from a social perspective the company has had a strong community impact. So far, the company has donated over 16.5 million diapers, and 2.1 million family essentials. It has also contributed over 16,500 volunteer hours.
