Which are some of the most logical movies ever made?

He only make sensible films.
1— In Paanch, We can feel the life of self destructed Musicians
and also a fear of being caught when they accidentally commit crimes.
2-In Black Friday, we can feel how middle class people are crushed between Goons and God. How a common man can be brainwashed in the name of religion.
3- In Dev D, we feel bad for Chanda that how she entered in prostitution business.
4— In No Smoking, we can feel the terror of Bengali Baba.
I always think the character of Bengali Baba played by Paresh Rawal is bit underrated, he is one of the most Haunting Villain in Bollywood.
5— In Ugly , just like the characters we also forgets the little girl Kali
6— In Gangs of Wasseypur, we can feel the Violent history of Wasseypur and its sub characters. I always think Sardaar khan , Shahid Khan or Faizal Khan all are the Sub Characters, the main character of the film is the Place Wasseypur itself
Just like in Taxi Driver the main character is not Travis or Iris, the filthy New York is the main character.
All the films that i have mentioned above,
every scene,
every characters,
every dialogue,
every locations
makes sense. There is no unnecessary scene or dialogues. Anurag sir never directs the unnecessary things. All of his films are sensible.
For example-
Let's take one situation- Boy loves girl, so no other guy can touch her, he can't stand if someone teases his girl.
Let's see what happens when Someone tries to tease Boy's girl by typical Bollywood Director
Hero wins.
Now let's see How Anurag Kashyap directs this simple scene
First Boy sees Girl
Here comes the bad guy, and he is teasing her
Hero gets angry
So he beats the bad guy
Scene cut.
After some time
This happens to our Hero
Simple , sensible and realistic.
Why to use action director, so much lighting, unnecessary close-up, unnecessary slow motion. Why?
Take any of his film scene, its always subjective. You can always feel the realism in his every story. We can connect ourselves with his characters.
Let's take this scene from Gangs of Wasseypur 2
Faizal Khan— Baap ka, dada ka, bhai ka , sabka badla lega re tera faijal.
Why this scene is epic?
Not just only because of acting, there are so many things
1— First, no background music, normally in a situation like this we hear a loud energetic music, because it is a situation which requires music because character is saying that he'll take revenge, any other director would have put music in this scene, But Anurag sir uses silence to play with the emotion.
2— So why silence? Because just before this scene we hear loud music and teri meherbaniyaan song
So that's why silence, why to fade out and fade in new music , if you can use silence in this.
3— look at the clothes, the lighting the background, and most importantly the dialogue, its a pretty simple dialogue (Baap ka, dada ka, bhai ka , sabka badla lega re tera faijal), but the way it was shot and acted made this simple scene into epic.
Ignore Grammatical mistakes
No Hard feelings:)
