What happens to the clothes after Bollywood celebrties wear them once?

Great question! I believe there are a few possibilities:

#1: Those clothes are simply put away in boxes, labeled with their movie names, and stored until like forever! In cold, dark rooms ... kinda like those tens of thousands of files lying in government offices (like they show in the movies!).

#2: Sometimes if a celebrity gets a bit too attached to their outfit(s), they are free to take them back home. What happens thereafter, nobody cares.

#3: Back to those boxes with used clothes in the cold dark rooms- they may reuse them for other movies, on different people- by mix and match strategy, and nobody even notices.

#4: Sometimes they auction off really intricate and iconic outfits, such as the ones Rajinikanth wore in Robot. The money derived goes towards helping the underprivileged.

Except not sure if the ones who buy those clothes at the auction wear them, or display them as wall art, or in turn put them away in boxes in the cold dark attic!

Come to think of it- it’s kinda like our wedding outfits. They just quietly hang out in the closet.
