Madonna and Britney Spears kissing at the 2003 VMAs
In spite of both Britney or Madonna publicly identifying as “Straight” (they’ve only been known to date and marry Men), they kissed each other on the lips in what appears to be a “lesbian act”. This event happened right after the Supreme Court struck down Texas’ Ban on Sodomy in June of 2003, paving the way for the eventual legalization of same-sex marriage (Massachusetts became the first state to legalize gay marriage in 2004, with the Supreme Court making gay marriage legal in All 50 States by 2015).
Justin Timberlake ripped off a piece of Janet Jackson’s Costume, exposing One of Her Breasts on Live TV
Justin tore off Janet’s costume during the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show, exposing one of her breasts. What’s even more disturbing about this controversy is that Janet got most of the blame and was forced to make a public apology when Justin was the one that did the scandal. Also, for a while, Janet’s music was banned from Radio Stations while Justin’s career (until recently) soared. Justin even got to do the Super Bowl Halftime Show again in 2018 with no other live artists (only other headliner musician in 2018 was Prince, who died in 2016, via musical recordings and actual archive footage).

While this Photo doesn’t appear to be too controversial, the Commercial featured Kendall (a Young, White Supermodel) at a “Black Lives Matter” Protest giving a can of Pepsi Soda to a Police Officer as an attempt to make peace between the Police Force and Protestors. This commercial had took the serious issues of Police Brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement too lightly by appropriating (or making trivial) the strained relationships that many African-Americans are having with Police Officers who have actually (or at least allegedly) shot and killed their Brothers, Sisters, and Other Friends & Family Members.
