What do astronauts think about the movie Interstellar?

A few days ago, a group of us from SpaceX took the afternoon off to watch Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’. We loved it. Then again, we don’t get out very often. We probably could have sat through ‘Gigli’ and loved it. As for myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but there were a few things that struck me as inaccurate. First and foremost – the casting.  I mean, is it really necessary to fill every astronaut movie with actors like Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, George Clooney, Sandra Bullock, Tom Hanks, and Kevin Bacon? How am I supposed to live up to that? I’m only 5 foot 5 inches tall, for crying out loud! Once, just once, can’t someone make a blockbuster space action-adventure movie starring Paul Giamatti or Wallace Shawn? Please? There were lesser flaws worth noting. (Spoilers follow!) Those beauty standard that movies set. No one wakes up from bed like this. I have been waking up from my bed for 25 years now, lol. I mean, of course I won’t look like Katrina Kaif, but I have never looked so fresh and perfect - When they show temple scenes, the girl is always dressed up so traditionally, flowers, silk saree/half-saree or silk veshti, so perfect like the one below. I am yet to meet a South Indian guy who likes to wear silk veshti to temple - First of all, there is dress code in most of the colleges. In my college, we were not even allowed inside the college without shawls on our chudithars. Almost all my hostel girls would have approx 15–30 mins to get ready, as we would have overslept (from all the late night chatting) and where is the time to do the hair or face or anything for that matter?
