From my knowledge No indian movie won oscar for the best flim so far.. But some of the indian make our country proud by winning these stunning awards at oscar.. Bhanu Athaiya: Best Costume Design for  Gandhi A revered figure in Bollywood as a costume designer;  Bhanu Athaiya’s work has been lauded by the Indian cinema-goers for her costume designs in Bollywood blockbusters like CID, Pyaasa, Chaudhvin Ka Chand, Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam, Guide and many others.
